Upon arrival at Nadi International Airport and clearing Fiji’s Immigration & Customs, proceed to the Information Desk where an English-speaking representative, wearing a company uniform, will greet you with a warm "Bula," shell leis, cool mint towels, and bottled water. They will guide you to the office for voucher exchange and provide a brief overview of your tour. After exchanging your vouchers, porters will assist with your luggage, and you’ll be introduced to your driver who will take you to your hotel in a private vehicle. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy at your leisure.
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour to discover the traditional villages, orchid gardens, craft markets, and an impressive Hindu temple near Nadi. From the hotel, meet your guide and travel through picturesque sugarcane fields and local villages to the historic village of Viseisei. This legendary site marks the landing of the first Melanesian people to arrive in Fiji. Explore the traditional ceremonial bure hut and browse the small craft market.
Next, visit the Sleeping Giant Orchid Gardens, a vast botanical park home to over 2,000 orchid varieties. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shaded boardwalks and beautifully landscaped lawns. Continue to the Nadi Sri Siva Subramaniam Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere, showcasing striking Dravidian architecture.
Finally, head to the town of Nadi, where you can engage with the locals and shop for authentic Fijian souvenirs at the market before returning to your hotel.
Overnight: Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa
After breakfast, embark on an exciting adventure through Fiji’s scenic interior, exploring hidden beauty and delving into the fascinating history of cannibalism at Fiji’s largest cave system, the Naihehe Cave.
Your Off-Road Cave Safari experience will be guided by trained experts who will safely and comfortably navigate powerful vehicles to transport you to this historic site. A unique combination of modern vehicle barges and traditional Fijian techniques, such as the ‘bilibili’ (push-push punt), will carry you and the ATVs across the mighty Sigatoka River.
After a 35-minute journey along the road less traveled, you'll arrive at the high priest’s house. The cave, stretching over 170 meters, begins with a small opening leading into a cavern before opening up into a much larger section. Naihehe Cave once served as a fortress for a cannibal tribe and still houses remnants of its dark past, including a cannibal oven, a ritual platform, the sacred priest's chamber, and other historical features.
Return to the hotel after the adventure.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Nadi Airport in a private vehicle for your onward flight, ensuring a smooth connection to your main sector flight.
Before departure, we kindly request a few minutes of your time to share your feedback with our representative or via email. Your valued suggestions are greatly appreciated. We hope you return home with wonderful memories of your overseas tour, which we trust will be cherished for a lifetime.
